Aldous Huxley's "Mind at Large" concept was introduced in his 1954 seminal work The Doors of Perception that describes a universal consciousness accessible to all.

"The function of the brain and nervous system is to protect us from being overwhelmed and confused by this mass of largely useless and irrelevant knowledge, by shutting out most of what we should otherwise perceive or remember at any moment".

Mind at Large is a state where our brain is open to it all.
